Core i9, Prosesor with '12 Brains'

Perhaps Intel will release the latest titled Core processors around I5 September 2009. But outside of that, rumor to other processors from Intel have started to develop.

One is Gulftown the issued will appear with the name Core i9. This processor will have a physical brain 6 (core), but the system would have identified 12 brain (logical cores).

Yes, with 6 core processor has support for Hyper-threading in each core. So that the processor is able to handle 12 thread at a time.

As quoted from PC Games Hardware, Tuesday (28/7/2009), this processor can be used on Intel X58 based mainboard. This is not another pair mainboard Core i7. If that is true, Core i9 to be 'logical choice' for the Core i7 users who want to upgrade.

Intel processor naming style is indeed would presumably change. Range Core 2 Duo (Dual Core) and Core 2 Quad (Quad Core) will be called into the family also changed Core i3.
